Six quilts and baby throws were assembled by members of Orange Sunrise Rotary on October 12th to benefit the children served by Rotaplast. Rotaplast International is a non-profit humanitarian organization providing free reconstructive operations and treatment for children in need worldwide. Every year, hundreds of children receive surgeries to correct cleft lips and palates through the Rotaplast program.
The quilts created by Orange Sunrise members will be given to children receiving the surgeries. Orange Sunrise is collecting baby quilts for this project as well. If you would like to donate a baby blanket or quilt, please visit our regular meeting on Wednesday at the Grand Street Center or drop by the Thursday Nite Cruise at Fatburger.
