Community Projects
Stater Bros. Food Drive
Stater Bros. Markets supports Southern California communities through food drives and charitable giving, reinforcing its commitment to affordable groceries and community care.
Stater Bros. Markets helps Southern California food banks assist people who are facing hunger. Due to the end of CalFresh COVID-19 emergency allotments and the impact of inflation, the risk of food insecurity is greater than ever.
All donations benefit Stater Bros. Charities, the nonprofit arm of Stater Bros. Markets. As stewards of these funds, Stater Bros. Charities will distribute 100% of the donations among all food bank partners during the summer months when food reserves are typically lower.

Ronald McDonald House
Ronald McDonald House provides essential services for families with children needing healthcare, helping them stay close during treatment and supporting healing.
At RMHC, we provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families and promote healing when children need healthcare.
After recognizing the need to support the whole family when a child is seriously ill or injured, our first Ronald McDonald House opened in Philadelphia, PA, USA, in 1974. That was the beginning of our role as a unique charity dedicated to caring for families with children who are ill or injured. Our programs and services address the essential needs of families around the world – all along their child’s healthcare journey – so they can focus on the health and well-being of their child.
Blessing Bags
Rotary District 7690 distributes Blessing Bags filled with essentials for people experiencing homelessness, offering immediate, practical support.
Homelessness can affect men, women and children from a wide range of backgrounds living in our cities, suburbs and country towns.
Global Trekker Andrea Alemanni would like to personally invite you to donate towards purchases she is making to fill each ‘Blessing Bag’ with essential items that help individuals experiencing homelessness.
Each Blessing Bag is packed and distributed locally (North Carolina).
It’s a tangible way to meet the immediate needs of people affected by homelessness in our Rotary District 7690.
Arbor Day Tree Planting
The Arbor Day Foundation collaborates with partners to plant trees worldwide, enhancing environmental impact with over 500 million trees planted in 50+ countries.
Each Year in the spring for the past 28 years, Tustin Santa Ana Rotary has provided every 3rd grade student in the TUSD (Tustin Unified School District) with a presentation about Arbor Day, and a tree that they can plant at home.
In 2019, Tustin Santa Ana Rotary provided over 2100 trees to be planted by the 2100 3rd grade students in the local school district. Volunteer presenters are members of Rotary and go to each school to deliver trees and hold assemblies for the 3rd grade students.
Santiago Creek Cleanup
Volunteers work together to improve the Santiago Creek greenway, enhancing its beauty, access, and ecological value for public enjoyment.
The Santiago Creek is part of a large trail system that can link 5 city parks within the cities of Orange and Santa Ana and provide off-road access to the existing trails in Anaheim Hills and the Peters Canyon Regional Trail east of Orange.
Threads of Love
Threads of Love provides handmade clothing and blankets to comfort families with premature and sick infants, sharing love and compassion in difficult times.
As Christians, we are all given a gift and are expected to develop and use it to collectively support and comfort one another. Through all circumstances we serve God and He has been continually faithful, providing all the necessities of this ministry as it grows – chapter by chapter – to bring God’s love and comfort to others.
For premature or sick babies, Threads of Love Ministry provides: a packet containing a crocheted or knitted cap, a day gown, a blanket, a lovie doll, and a prayer for healing.
March for Mental Health Awareness
Join advocates in a community walk to break the silence around mental health, fostering empathy, support, and understanding for those affected.
Rotary has a remarkable record when it comes to health initiatives. We’ve helped bring polio to the brink of eradication, and clubs have carried out myriad projects focused on preventing disease and supporting maternal and child health. Now the global pandemic has brought attention to another aspect of health that is often overlooked: mental health. In many places, depression, anxiety, and suicide are seen as things to be ashamed of and kept quiet. But Rotary members are recognizing the gaps in understanding and resources and are stepping up to help.
