On September 12th, Orange Sunrise Rotary members created a dozen fabric hearts that will be turned into pillows for grieving moms and families. The project benefited “A Heart to Hold“, a non-profit organization that distributes to pillows to those who have lost an infant during pregnancy or shortly after birth. Members cut out hearts of various sizes and then sewed them together to prepare them for stuffing with uncooked rice. Rice is used so that the finished pillow is the weight of the lost child.
