Orange Plaza Rotary has been part of the fight to eradicate polio worldwide since 1985. We are “this close” to freeing all children from the threat of this crippling disease. Each year, our club raises funds and awareness for this battle at the Annual Orange Plaza Car Show and on special “cruise nights” during the summer months. Our funding support allows Rotarians “on the ground” to distribute the life-changing vaccine in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Nigeria.We have recently celebrated the eradication of polio in India and will soon declare the continent of Africa polio free!
